Art Standards

Expectations
Be Prepared: Come with iPad charged and with other materials needed for the project.
Be Respectful: Use respectful language, tone, facial expressions and body language when interacting with others.
Be on Task: Focus and do not let others distract you while you work.
Respect the Art Supplies: Use the art materials correctly, appropriately and carefully. Clean up after yourself.
Persevere: When you make a mistake, keep going! When something is challenging, don’t give up!
Projects
Sixth grade artists are currently beginning an Animation Unit. Students got to live-chat with animator Ken Fountain! We learned all about what being an animator entails, the skills you need to become one and we got our questions answered by Ken. What a great way to kick off our unit and get the students excited! Sixth grade students are now working with partners to create their own Stop-Motion animation.
